Pro path

Calgary selected Myddelton in the fourth round (30th overall) of the 2009 CFL Canadian Draft and he signed on May 25, 2009.

2012

Myddelton started the first four games of the season at left guard before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

2011

Myddelton suited up for 14 regular-season games, starting each of those contests at left guard. He was an integral part of an offensive line that helped the Stamps offence finish second in the league with 2,244 rushing yards. Calgary was also second in the league in average gain per rush at 6.2 yards, third in passing yards (5,033) and tied for second in fewest sacks allowed (34). He suffered a shoulder injury in Week 15 and finished the season on the nine-game injury list.

Career highlights

  • Played his first CFL game on July 1, 2010, against the Toronto Argonauts and started at right guard
  • Named the starter at left guard coming out of training camp in 2011
  • Made a total of 12 starts in 2010, six at left guard and six at right guard, in his first season of action

College

Myddelton was a 2008 East West Bowl participant and was a nominee for the J.P. Metras Trophy, which is presented to the outstanding lineman in the CIS. He is a two-time Atlantic University Sport all-star and, in 2008, was the conference’s lineman of the year. He was All-Canadian first team in his senior season and was co-winner of St. FX’s male athlete of the year award.

Notable

Myddelton played high school for Barrie Central Collegiate and was named MVP on different sides of the ball in consecutive seasons. He also played rugby in high school and was named to Team Canada's under-19 rugby team.
