Hello Stamps Fans!

The first game is days away! Can you believe it?

We have all been working really hard in preparation for this season. With what seems like countless dances, cheers and sideline dances (which we call extraneous) completed, I feel more prepared this season than ever.

We are all extremely excited to hear the thunder from the fans, see all the excited faces in the crowd and feel the energy radiating from the players as they enter the field.

It is my third year on the team, so I find some comfort in knowing what to expect come game day, but I still get nervous! I don’t think those nerves will ever go away, knowing that there are about 30,000 people watching you.

There have also been a few changes to what we do throughout the game, which makes me nervous as well. Now we do a pre-game dance at centre field before tunnelling the players out. This is a completely new concept and it means that we do three dances a game instead of two. Bonus for us!
We only have one practice and one field practice before the game. The day is almost here and we can hardly wait.

On behalf of the team, we are all looking forward to seeing all you fans out there enjoying the first home game, this Father’s Day Sunday.
